These really tasty dumplings are from Lukas Volger's Bowl: Vegetarian Recipes for Ramen, Pho, Bibimbap, Dumplings, and Other One-Dish Meals. Ethan, Françoise and I all loved them. (I made a batch without jalapeño for Françoise.) As indicated in the recipe, these dumplings can go with a wonton soup, a green salad, or toasted quinoa and kale. I made the green salad with honey-soy vinaigrette but have included the recipes for all three options. I garnished the bowl with fresh basil, chopped peanuts, and a drizzle of kecap manis (sweet Indonesian soy sauce).
